Coca-Cola Europacific Partners New Zealand (CCEP NZ) has announced that it has achieved the Advanced GenderTick Accreditation and has closed its gender pay gap to 0%.
CCEP NZ met the requirements set by GenderTick across the six pillars of pay equity, leadership representation, flexible work and leave, gender safe workplace, gender inclusive culture and supporting the menopausal transition.
Additionally, CCEP NZ met the criteria for Advanced Accreditation around remuneration, parental leave and policies that ensure a safe and welcoming environment within the workplace. In achieving the GenderTick Accreditation CCEP NZ is positioned amongst leaders in progressing gender equality.
Clare Parkes, general manager of people and culture at CCEP NZ says CCEP NZ’s has shown a continued commitment to improving gender equality in the workplaces and meeting the benchmark for best practice in gender equality.
“I’m proud of this achievement, it shows how our systemic processes of hiring and rewarding performance are unbiased in applying the right remuneration for the role regardless of gender. Our leaders are committed to creating a workplace where everyone’s welcome and achieving the GenderTick is testament to this,” says Parkes.
Closing the gender pay gap to 0% means that the median hourly rate of pay across the business is the same for males and females. CCEP NZ calculates pay gap by MindTheGap and Statistic NZ’s formula.
CCEP NZ has processes in place to ensure that the pay gap remains closed, including a quarterly review on renumeration data.
The focus on gender equality, specifically equal pay for equal work has been a longstanding priority for CCEP NZ. CCEP NZ is a foundation member of the GenderTick and one of the first companies to be accredited in 2018. Additionally, in March 2022, CCEP NZ was one of the first 50 organisations to join New Zealand’s first public pay gap registry through MindTheGap.
