Picky, the new brand choice for smoothie and juice lovers? – no concentrate

From the team behind Boring Oat Milk comes Picky, a new beverage brand that the company says has “perfected delicious, freshly squeezed juices and smoothies”.

Made in the Hawke’s Bay and launching across New Zealand this month, the range includes six juices and four smoothies and said to be meticulously crafted from the highest quality ingredients without concentrate.

There’s a single-variety, 100% NZ apple juice, as well as blends featuring feijoa, pear, blueberry and orange; and an apple, lemon, manuka honey and ginger flavour. Smoothies include a tropical flavour as well as feijoa, berry and spirulina.

The Boring team says it has used bold, eye-catching cues and hues to stand out on the shelf in the process of the rebrand from The Apple Press to Picky.

“Picky is designed to be the star, whether that be sipping a quenching orange & apple juice at a summer barbecue or treating yourself to a berry smoothie on the way back from the gym,” the company says in a release to media.

“Picky’s juices do not use concentrates and are instead freshly pressed to help retain the taste and the quality.”

Picky is available in 800ml and 1.5 litre bottles.
